About
The Greek Refrigerator is a place to keep family recipes and traditions — the ones that were written down, the ones you learned by watching, and the ones that changed over time.
Some of what’s here is food. Some of it is a memory, tradition, or a way a holiday was observed. Some posts are recipes as they were, some are how they’re made now, and some are simply things that stayed — a special dish tied to a holiday, something brought out only once a year, or a tradition best understood by sharing it.
Others are invited to share too. Sometimes that means getting together to make a special recipe the way it’s done now, or to share a tradition and how it’s been entrusted and carried forward. At other times, it’s simply meeting — carving out time together to catch up, reminisce, and pass things along.
Here’s how we remember them — and how we live them now.
Happiness comes from simply being together.
